KISNER VICTORY GIVES EPIC FLASH MORE GLOBAL WINS THAN ANY OTHER DRIVER MODEL IN 2019

Callaway Staff Professional Kevin Kisner underlined the global dominance of Epic Flash Drivers when he won the World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas.

Kisner, a WGC Match Play finalist for the second successive year, took the title and the $1.745m first prize with a 3&2 victory, using an Epic Flash Sub Zero (9°) Driver that has been in play since the beginning of 2019 (Sony Open).

Callaway continues to be #1 in PGA TOUR driver wins this year, #1 in worldwide driver wins and usage across all major tours in 2019. Players using Epic Flash have now had more worldwide wins than any other driver model – and 10 of those victories have been by non-staff players who have chosen to use the product based on performance alone.

Along with Kisner, Callaway Staffers Xander Schauffele and Francesco Molinari, have all won on the PGA TOUR this season using Epic Flash Sub Zero Drivers that feature innovative Flash Face Technology, which was created using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, to promote faster ball speeds.

“Overall it was a long week, but I prevailed and I’m a World Golf champion“ Kisner commented I just learned a lot from last year. I learned about preparation. I learned not to get too amped up for that final. You still have to come out and play golf. I don’t think either one of us played our best golf. But I drove it great all week with my Callaway driver, and it was a great week.”

Callaway also continues to be the #1 Fairway Wood brand across the major worldwide Tours in 2019 and Kisner put the Epic Flash Sub Zero 3-wood in play – his dependable option off the tee – and into the green on Par-5s.

Odyssey Putters continue to dominate in worldwide wins and the worldwide putter count this year, with 28 in play at the WGC (no other brand had more than 14). Kisner’s gamer White Hot Pro #7 has also been his #1 choice for years, and is cut to 34¼in with 3.5° loft.

Topping a strong week for #TeamCallaway, new signing, Francesco Molinari, claimed third place with a 4&2 victory, using a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey equipment, and a Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, the exact-same set-up that helped him win The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.

Neil Howie, Managing Director of Callaway EMEA, said: “Our congratulations go to Kevin – his victory underlines yet again that our Epic Flash Drivers and Odyssey Putters are proving to be THE products for the big occasion, giving both our Staff Professionals and many non-contracted players a significant winning edge across the globe.
