What is GAPR?

GAPR Iron/Rescue clubs have been designed fit an ever growing hole between increasingly difficult to hit long irons, hybrids that promote too much flight and long-shafted distance seeking fairway woods, that at times can be hard to control given condition changes.

The name from TaylorMade for the new range refers to the “GAP” in a golfers set make-up between your longest iron (that you can hit with comfort) and your shortest fairway wood.

GAPR introduces a new category of golf club, designed to fill the gap between your longest playable iron and your shortest metal wood. Featuring three unique shapes (GAPR HI, MID, and LO), you can choose your preferred head design to bridge the gap in your long game.

SPEEDFOAM

Each GAPR club benefits from TaylorMade’s revolutionary SpeedFoam technology, something we first saw in the stunning P790 Irons. The foam which has been injected into each club-head to enhance ball speed and feedback, delivers performance unlike any other utility club.

Our easily adjustable Loft Sleeve provides even more options to tweak the loft, lie, and trajectory to find your perfect GAPR distance. Use the Loft Sleeve to dial in your yardage and/or make subtle adjustments as your swing evolves.
